Dr. Corman grew up in Kitchener and recently made the move to Strathroy so that her young family could have a rich sense of community and enjoy all of the benefits a smaller city has to offer.
Dr. Corman earned her Bachelor Degree in Psychology from Ryerson University followed by her Doctorate Degree from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto. She completed a clinical internship at the Robert Shad Naturopathic Clinic, with a focus in Reproductive Health and Paediatrics. She has mentored with an Obstetrics and Gynaecology specialist and Reproductive Endocrinologist in Waterloo and Toronto, respectively.
Dr. Corman's main areas of interest and focus are hormonal health, fertility, pregnancy, and digestive health. She also has a special interest in skin care, energy, sleep, and headaches. She utilizes many different natural treatment options to ensure that her patients receive individualized care based on their needs and lifestyle. When being treated by Dr. Corman you can expect to discuss lifestyle and nutrition, botanical medicine, nutraceuticals, asian medicine and acupuncture, hydrotherapy, and laboratory testing options.
In Dr. Corman’s spare time she enjoys trying out new recipes and exploring the great outdoors with her yellow labrador, husband and two daughters. Travelling is another favourite pastime and has taken her around the world to many different countries. On one of her trips she ventured to Nicaragua with Natural Doctors International (NDI) to volunteer at the naturopathic clinic on the island of Ometepe. There, she assisted in providing free naturopathic care to the residents of the island.
Dr. Corman is a member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND), Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND), and the College of Naturopaths of Ontario (CONO).
